Getting started provides an overview of money and payment methods and helps people better understand and navigate financial systems and payment options.

The workshops include:

• Introduction to everyday banking - examines some of the advantages and disadvantages associated with a range of different types of accounts that most banks, building societies and credit unions offer.
• Different ways to pay - discusses different payment methods, including cash, credit cards, EFTPOS, cheques and BPAY^®, their potential costs and their key features.
